Bring a real job
Recurring visits and exceptions.
Move one visit without silently changing the entire recurring arrangement. Check the next appointment, customer message, cleaner assignment, and the outstanding task after a skipped visit.
Use two properties for the same customer with different access notes, supplies, and included tasks. Have a replacement cleaner read the job and explain the agreed work without a separate office call.
Add an absence, change the crew, and adjust the scope after a customer request. Review how the office sees availability and how the agreed charge reaches the invoice.

How we research
The fit to investigate
Put Housecall Pro on the shortlist when the work you need to connect matches its published scope. Use Housecall Pro to test a residential service visit with a dispatcher, technician, and customer. Include revised work and a correction so the handoff is visible.
The job to bring: A recurring customer needs a different arrival time, a cleaner is absent, and the property has instructions that must reach the replacement.
The useful result is a record another employee can understand: who owns the next step, which scope was approved, what remains unfinished, and what the customer has been told. Have the office, field employee, and bookkeeper follow that same record during the demonstration.
This is public-source research and editorial analysis. We have not run a controlled long-term field test for this business type. The exercises below help you check the fit with your own team.
Follow the work, then change the plan
Coordinate booking, dispatch, the service visit, pricing, invoicing, and payment. Confirm the included plan, user access, and optional products before relying on a capability in your process. See the provider’s current information.

Cleaner availability and the invoice
Add an absence, change the crew, and adjust the scope after a customer request. Review how the office sees availability and how the agreed charge reaches the invoice.
Ask the employee who owns each stage to complete it on a normal device. Introduce an interruption instead of allowing the demonstration to follow only an ideal job. Record the required plan, the result, and any extra manual step beside each task.
Price the configuration your team needs
Basic starts at $59 monthly equivalent for one user with annual billing. Essentials includes five users and MAX eight; optional products and billing choices matter. Official pricing.
Public pricing checked October 2, 2026. A starting package can have a different billing commitment, user allowance, or feature scope from the package your business needs. Ask for a written quote using the people and workflows in your demo.
- Employees who need accounts, their permissions, and any extra-seat or schedule charges.
- The required plan and each optional product used in the demonstration.
- Payment, messaging, phone, or other usage charges that apply to your configuration.
- Migration, training, accounting setup, tax, renewal, and cancellation terms.
Compare the full first-year and recurring cost. Housecall Pro pricing guide gives the published structure.
Resolve the limits before committing
Include commercial accounts, complex projects, unusual inventory, and accounting exceptions when they form part of the business. Check the configuration rather than the general product name.
Ask directly: Which tier and optional products complete the service visit, customer communication, and accounting tasks?
When a requirement is essential, ask the provider to demonstrate it in the quoted configuration and record the answer. Keep “available,” “included,” and “configured for us” as separate questions. If the answer needs an integration, identify who supports the connection and what happens when a record needs correcting.
A demo checklist for your business
Complete the tasks with your real job example. Tick a task after the responsible employee can explain the result; a checked box is a prompt for your notes, not a product score.
0 of 6 demo tasks checked.
For each unresolved task, record the provider’s answer, the employee responsible, the plan or optional product required, and the remaining manual work. The checklist is local to this page and resets when you leave.
Make the handover part of the decision
Begin with a small sample of customers, properties, open work, and balances. Inspect the imported result with the people who will use it before agreeing to a full migration. Define what happens to older photos, notes, agreements, and billing history.
Run a short parallel period with one clear owner for each system and a plan for avoiding duplicate appointments or invoices. Have staff complete an ordinary job, a changed job, and a correction. Agree how unfinished work is handled on the changeover day.
A satisfactory demo is a useful starting point. A successful rollout also needs understandable records, a maintained configuration, and someone accountable for the unresolved questions.
Compare a second route
Use another candidate to test the same requirement with the same team size and job example. For recurring routes, project work, specialist inventory, or complex accounting, include a candidate that addresses that particular requirement.

Questions before choosing
Who should explore Housecall Pro for cleaning?
A business whose essential work matches the provider’s published scope can use it as a candidate. Demonstrate the specific scenario in this review and ask your own employees to complete the important stages.
Does the starting price cover our team?
Use the actual employee count, permissions, required functions, and billing term in the quote. A headline starting figure does not describe every configuration.
What should we test before moving?
A recurring customer needs a different arrival time, a cleaner is absent, and the property has instructions that must reach the replacement. Include the accounting correction and sample import, then inspect the resulting records with the people who own them.
Where can I report a correction?
Send the section and supporting provider documentation through our contact page. Purchase-specific questions should be resolved against the current provider documentation and written offer.
